Conjure Earth?
I just realized a few minutes ago that while the other three element types have a "conjure" spell, there is no "Conjure Earth" (or whatever it may be). I can't think of any reason why this is so, other than the fact that conjuring earth simply doesn't sound as cool as conjuring fire. Is there any logical explanation?

Hmm. I think I saw that Mantra of Earth is coming in Factions.
But not Conjure Earth, IIRC, which I may well not be.

Mantra of Earth is a Prophecies skill.
Reply to OP: Not entirely sure, but they don't have a "Mind" spell for Earth aswell.

it's a good question. It would be nice if my kd+as warrior could throw up some extra mud damage as well.

Its the fact that earth is cataclysmic in style for the offence, unlike the other 3, which are more or less just controlling the air and the substances in it.
Earth on the other hand, controls what you stand on. A geomancer needs something done, he makes the ground under your feet shift so you get crushed, fall into a pit, get hit by a wave of earth, or get slammed inthe face by a wave of rocks, dust and other random things on the ground AND a burst of air.
If they did impliment a earth line conjure spell, it would probobly have something to do with magnitisim. (besides, conjuring earth seems a little redundant....) "im gonna toss this rock at you, and when it hits, its bounce off and hit you AGAIN! w00t!"

They added it in Factions -- Ice Spear with crackling noises, basically.

Well, they don't get conjure earth because earth with the new factions spells should be able to do as much damage as other elements...And there is already many enchantements...XD i do grasping earth for fun on everyone in RA.. LOL its so funny when your allies try to hit them and say WTF?! I CANT HIT EM?!!lol

Earth damage doesn't do anything special to anyone. There really isn't a point in using earth damage on your weapon. It's total trash. So... why would you want a Conjure Earth? Earth is the most ambiguous element- there is no benefits and it has the drawback of being elemental damage and therefore largely influenced by armor stats... At least there is Obs Flame... by far, probably the best EM spell. On the flip side, EM is an awesome defense magic line. Nice on the PBAoEs, too.

The reason one would want Conjure Earth would be to combine with defensive Earth skills on the same skill bar and attribute allocation.
Duh.

That was my instinct as well at first, but actually for the most part, that wouldn't work, since most of the defensive skills on the earth line (armor of earth, obsidean flesh) are enchantments, and the 'conjure' spells cause you to lose all enchantments. Wards of course are the exception.

How many people do you know bring armor vs. earth? Not counting generic + armor vs ele damage of course. Not saying it would be good, but you can't say it's worth less than other conjures are.
